Alongside the US $20 Million token sale, the team from Stryking has produced a fantasy football game especially designed to tie in with the start of the upcoming international football tournament.
A winning football format?
Founded in 2012, Stryking already develops the ‘Football Stars’ gaming experience, which is produced with Kicker magazine. The game allows players to pick a team and runs daily challenges for them to take part in, instead of tournament-length contests, which is said to be the main differentiator of Football Stars. The World Cup version will take on a similar format. Additionally, players on the platform will be able to take part in player trading and content creation and the STRYKZ tokens will work with the existing coins used to play Football-Stars.
Headed up by Christian Szymanski who is co-founder of the company, the plan is for the format to attract more fans to fantasy matches like in the US where around 20% of fans take part in the matches, way ahead of the 2% in Europe.
The project recently announced retired Portuguese footballer, Luis Figo as a brand ambassador, although interestingly, it was confirmed in report by Bitcoin Exchange Guide that the star had told CNN he had yet to invest in the STRYKZ tokens.
The token pre- sale will be launched on June 15th and the full sale will go live on June 18th. The token issue has a soft cap of US $4 million. Approximately 20 million USD is fixed in ETH ahead of the token sale. Investors are advised that bonus allocations are available but only in the private pre-sale event. The STRYKYZ will be launched on the Gibraltar Blockchain Exchange (GBX).
