Ashtead Group is a 72-year-old company headquartered in London, the UK. At the time of the founding, the company’s name was Ashtead Plant Hire Company. The company went public in 1986 when it floated its shares on the London Stock Exchange. Ashtead Group trades under the ticker name AHT, and it is part of the FTSE 100 composite.
