The financial institution has roots dating back to 1903 when it operated as Binsotsbank. It changed its name to Bank of Georgia in 1994, got incorporated in 2017, and has its headquarters in London, the U.K.

The company offers financial services in Georgia and Belarus through three segments of Retail Banking that offers consumer & mortgage loans and overdrafts. The Corporate Investment Banking segment offers loans to corporate and institutional customers. The BNB Segment, on the other hand, offers retail and corporate banking services to clients in Belarus
