Betfair Group Ltd was set up in 2000 when Edward Wray and Andrew Black came together to explore the betting industry. After years of operation, the company merged with Paddy Power and was renamed Paddy Power Betfair. However, in 2016, its name changed again to Flutter Entertainment.

Flutter Entertainment is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, with an additional 16 offices across 600 retail sites, works with some of the biggest brands in the online gaming industry. Its products and services include Advanced Deposit Wagering, gaming, Sportsbooks, and exchange through the Betfair Exchange platform.

The bookmaking holding company is keen on offering safe gambling. It exercises the Responsible Gambling strategy whose aim is to create enlightened voices within the industry. Every day, the company is monitoring the behavior of about 115 customers.

The company uses partnerships to access a wider part of the industry and also takes part in enhancing customer protection. Meanwhile, it is also listed on the LON market.
