Centurion Resources Plc was founded in 2005 with its headquarters based in London. It was later renamed as FinnAust Mining Plc on acquiring its entire share capital at £7.7M. Its operations were primarily focused in Southern and Central Finland. In 2012 it joined the alternative investment market and raised capital for development by issuing one million ordinary shares valued at £1 each.

Centurion operates in Central and Northern Europe and performs its core business of exploring and developing copper assets and base metal deposits. It also engages in smelting and processing the ores, which are mineral-bearing rocks that contain one or more minerals, which can be mined and treated profitably for business. The main ores are tennantite, chalcopyrite, and pyrite. It utilizes technology and ideas developed for exploring metal sulphides, and it is referred to as the natural resources company in the market. Centurion was listed on the London Stock Exchange.
