Fastjet Plc is a South African based British airline company that is the holder of subsidiaries such as fastjet Zimbabwe and fastjet Airlines Limited Tanzania. It is a low-cost carrier operating in the southern region of Africa. Founded by Stelios Haji-Ioannou following the acquisition of Fly540 the company commenced operations in November 2012 as fastjet. The company has headquarters in the UK, and it trades on the London Stock Exchange under the Alternative Investment Market.

The airline provides services as a low-cost airline serving the east and southern African regions. The company operates around ten routes in six African countries covering more than ten destinations. In Tanzania, the company operates flights to Kilimanjaro, Zanzibar, Mbeya and Mwanza from Dar es Salaam. And in Zimbabwe, they operate routes between Victoria Falls and Harare. It has subsidiaries, which include Fastjet Ait Tanzania Limited, Fastjet Leasing PCC Ltd, Fastjet Aviation Ltd, and Fastjet Leasing UK Ltd, among others.
