Ferrexpo Plc is a mining and commodity trading company based in Switzerland. It conducts its mining activities in Ukraine, where they have iron ore. Ferrexpo produces, develops as well as markets iron ore pellets to the metallurgical market. The company established in 1960, has headquarters in Baar Switzerland, although it’s trading offices are in London. The company trades on the London Stock Exchange, and it is among the FTSE 250 index companies.

Its operations are mainly from iron mining, pellet production, and logistics. The company operates two mines in Ukrain and a processing plant around Kremenchuk. They also have a stake in a port in the city of Odessa, as well as sales. Equally, they run a fleet of vessels operating on the Danube and Rhine waterways as well as one that goes to the ocean. They supply steel mills in the Czech Republic, Austria, and Slovakia as well as other EU states and Asia.
