Greene King

Greene King Plc has a rich heritage of over 200years of business, having been established in 1799. It was founded by Benjamin Greene before being taken over by Edward Greene in 1836. An 1887 merger with a brewing business belonging to William King resulted in the company’s current name.

It has not only mushroomed into a retailer but also a brewer with corporate offices in Bury St Edmunds, England, UK.

Greene King Plc is a producer of branded beer. It brews some of the best-loved beers in the UK, this includes Old Speckled Hen, Greene King IPA, and Abbot Ale. Additionally, it runs a franchise of hotels, pubs, and restaurants, which are either leased, managed, or tenanted.

Some of its markets are in Scotland and wales, as well as villages, towns, and big cities across the world. The exceptional values and genuine service has earned Greene King Plc a spot in the LSE market.
