InterContinental Hotels Group plc is a multinational hospitality company that initially started in Denham, Buckinghamshire, England, UK. The group was established in 1777 by William Bass when he opened a hospitality facility under the name Bass Brewery. By the end of 18 century, the entity had gained recognition across the UK and beyond becoming an international trademark. The company is traded on the London Stock Exchange, and it is a constituent of the FTSE Share Index. It is also listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

The group franchises its brands and manages on behalf of their partners. It operates a wide range of guestrooms and hotels across the globe. Currently, it owns several brands spread across more than 100 countries including the famous InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Regent Hotels, EVEN Hotels, Holiday Inn, Staybridge Suites, Hotel Indigo, Kipton Hotels and Resorts and much more. The chain of hotels continues to control the hospitality industry worldwide had presently; the group controls high-end accommodation facilities in almost all cities in the world.
