Ladbrokes

In 1886, Messrs. Schwind and Pennington founded what was then a commission agent for horses, which had been trained at Ladbroke Hall. Following a new partnership in 1902, the company adopted the name Ladbrokes and put up its headquarters in the UK.

The company became one of the renowned gambling entities and went on to acquire some of its rivals, such as Gala Coral Group, in 2016. This resulted in changing the name to Ladbrokes Coral. Before its acquisition by GVC Holdings, it was a member of the LSE market.

GVC Holdings is a prominent sports betting established in 2004 as Gaming VC Holdings. It was rebranded to its current name in 2010. Its headquarters are situated in the Isle of Man with additional operations in more than 18 countries.

Through its unique technology platform, the company is the operator of some of the common online brands such as Foxy Bingo, Sportingbet, party casino, and bwin. Its listing is on the LSE market.
