About Shaftesbury

The company was founded to invest in real estate in 1986 and has its headquarters in London, United Kingdom. Its shares are listed on the London Stock Exchange.

It operates through acquisition and sale of properties with an approximated acquisition of over 600 properties in London situated on a 15-acre portfolio. Its areas of operation are mainly Seven Dials, Carnaby, Chinatown, and the additional regions of Fitzrovia, Soho and Covent Garden (East and West). In September 2018, its property value stood at £3.7B. The group’s main objective is to have increased value in rental income and high return on assets and capital investment and consequent increase in dividends to shareholders. The choice of concentrating its operations in London is due to its extremely modern infrastructure, its multicultural composition, and its being a tourist attraction city. London in Western Europe is also the largest and the fifth world’s largest city in terms of GDP, and thus, it qualifies for investment by the group.
