Tullett Prebon

Derek Tullett founded Tullett & Riley in 1971. The company was a forex broker but later expanded into financial analysis. Tullett Liberty was formed in 1999 after Tullett & Riley merged its operations and assets with Liberty Brokerage. Further expansion of the broking business led to another merger, this time between Tullett Liberty and Prebon Yamane, and resulted in the formation of Tullett Prebon Plc. In 2015, Tullett Prebon acquired some assets from ICAP plc. As a result, the company rebranded to TP ICAP plc.

TP ICAP plc operates as an interdealer broker based in London, the United Kingdom has investment banks and commercial banks as its clients. The company facilitates trades in the securities and commodities over-the-counter (OTC) market as well as the ETF markets. Geographically, the company covers North and South America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific. Major products and services include voice broking services, real-time securities prices and analytics, Tullett Prebon Information, and risk management services. TP ICAP trades as TCAP on London Stock Exchange.
