In the recent past, it has established its presence in the cloud on offering Sales Cloud, for storing data, monitoring leads, and forecasting opportunities. Service Cloud is the company’s other notable product, designed to make it easy for companies and businesses to personalize customer service.
The company has grown through acquisitions that have allowed it to diversify its product offerings on the cloud. Its biggest purchase to date is a data visualization company; Tableau acquired for $15.3 billion in 2019.
Headquartered in San Francisco, the company went public in 2004 and is currently listed in the New York Stock Exchange.
