Chapters 12, 13

Chapters of the US bankruptcy law that apply to family farmers and fishermen, and private individuals respectively. The provisions of these chapters allow reorganization under supervision of the bankruptcy court with the intention of rehabilitation. This is in contrast to a Chapter 7 filing that involves liquidation.
