Green issues
Policy issues arising from concerns about the environment. Various environmental problems arise from economic activity and in particular from economic growth. These include climatic change due to excessive usage of fossil fuels, deforestation, soil erosion, extinction of plant and animal species tind loss of biodiversity, and health problems due to air and water pollution, radiation, and excessive use of fertilizers and pesticides.
