Normal distribution (Gaussian distribution)

The standard normal distribution is defined as the normal distribution with zero mean and unit variance; normal distribution with arbitrary mean and variance from a location-scale family. The normal distribution plays and important role in statistical inference du to the Central Limit Theorems.
