Political and charitable contributions

The Companies Act 1967 made it necessary for companies to give details in accounts of any such contributions made by themselves or their subsidiaries. Total political or total charitable contributions, if above a particular figure, must be shown. Also, if a political contribution amounts to more than a minimum stated amount the name of the political party must be given.
