Sustainable Development Strategy (SDS)

A European Union policy aimed at achieving a continuous improvement in the quality of life of citizens through sustainable communities that manage and use resources efficiently and tap the ecological and social innovation potential of the economy, ensuring prosperity, environmental protection, and social cohesion. The performance of the SDS is assessed in biannual reports based on the set of sustainable development indicators.
