About the Indonesia Stock Exchange
The Indonesia Stock Exchange was formed in 2007 through the merger of the Jakarta Stock Exchange and the Surabaya Stock Exchange. This growing exchange now trades shares of over 600 listed companies, covering all major sectors of the Indonesian economy. The majority of people using the exchange are foreign investors, although domestic investors also make up a high number of the overall percentage relating to the trade of stocks, shares, and other commodities.
