About the OTC Markets Group
The OTC Markets Group is an American financial market for over 10,000 over the counter (OTC) securities. Formerly known as Pink Sheets, the OTC Markets Group is a less regulated market than larger formal exchanges such as the NYSE, and the companies that are traded on OTC markets don’t have to file with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The OTC Markets Group has been around in some shape or form since 1913, and is split into three separate markets: OTCQX, OTCQB and Pink.
On this page you’ll find a breakdown of the companies listed on the OTC Markets Group, information of indices that track OTC trades, a brief history of the market, and the performance of today’s tradable stocks.
