Compass, Inc. on Yhdysvalloissa toimiva asuinkiinteistöjen välitys- ja teknologiayhtiö. Yhtiö tarjoaa alustan, jonka tarkoituksena on auttaa kiinteistönvälittäjiä hallitsemaan koko asunnon ostajien ja myyjien palveluprosessia asiakkaiden hankinnasta ja markkinoinnista aina transaktioiden koordinointiin asti. Compass tarjoaa välittäjille pilvipohjaisen kokonaisuuden, joka sisältää asiakkuudenhallinnan, digitaalisen markkinoinnin, myynti-ilmoitusten valmistelun, haun, yhteistyön ja työnkulkuominaisuudet. Tavoitteena on tehdä välittäjistä tuottavampia ja samalla luoda asiakkaille yhtenäisempi kokemus transaktion aikana, joka on usein monimutkainen ja arvoltaan merkittävä. Yhtiö tukee välittäjiä myös brändiresursseilla, markkinadatalla, operatiivisella tuella ja pääsyllä välitysinfrastruktuuriin.
Toisin kuin portaalit, jotka ansaitsevat pääosin mainonnasta tai ilmoitusliikenteestä, Compass saa liikevaihtonsa välitysliikkeeseensä kuuluvien välittäjien toteuttamista kiinteistötransaktioista. Tämä tarkoittaa, että sen tuloskehitys on tiiviisti sidoksissa asuntomarkkinoiden aktiivisuuteen, asuntojen hintoihin, asuntolainakorkoihin, välittäjien pysyvyyteen ja yhtiön kykyyn rekrytoida tuottavia tiimejä houkutteleville paikallisille markkinoille.
Compass on asemoinut itsensä moderniksi välitysmalliksi pirstaleisella toimialalla käyttämällä teknologiaa keskittämään tehtäviä, joita on aiemmin hoidettu erillisillä työkaluilla ja manuaalisilla prosesseilla. Sen alusta on tarkoitettu sekä yksittäisille välittäjille että suuremmille välittäjätiimeille, erityisesti kilpailluilla suurkaupunkien asuntomarkkinoilla. Sijoittajille COMP tarjoaa altistumista Yhdysvaltain asuinkiinteistötransaktioille, välitysliikkeiden markkinaosuuskehitykselle ja välittäjien työnkulkujen laajemmalle digitalisoitumiselle.
