MDxHealth saa liikevaihtonsa pääasiassa kliinisistä testauspalveluista, erityisesti Yhdysvalloissa, sekä biomarkkereihin liittyvän immateriaalioikeutensa ja teknologia-alustansa lisensoinnista kumppaneille.
MDxHealthin testit sijoittuvat laajempaan siirtymään kohti täsmälääketiedettä, jossa diagnostista tietoa käytetään hoidon räätälöimiseen yksittäisen potilaan riskiprofiilin mukaan. Urologiassa tämä voi tarkoittaa päätöksenteon tukemista sen suhteen, edetäänkö biopsiaan, miten uusiutumisriskiä arvioidaan tai miten todennäköiseksi katsotaan, että potilas hyötyy tietystä hoitopolusta. Yhtiö palvelee lääkäreitä, terveydenhuoltojärjestelmiä ja maksajia, jotka hakevat käyttökelpoisempaa tietoa kuin mitä perinteiset mittarit yksin voivat tarjota.
Vaikka MDxHealth on perustettu Belgiassa, sillä on merkittävä kaupallinen läsnäolo Yhdysvalloissa, joka on sen tärkein markkina, sekä lisätoimintaa Euroopassa. Sen näkymät riippuvat testien käyttöönotosta urologien keskuudessa, korvattavuudesta, kliinisestä validoinnista, laboratoriototeutuksesta ja molekyylidiagnostiikan jatkuvasta kysynnästä syövän hoidossa.
