Venmo on PayPalin sosiaalinen vertaismaksusovellus Yhdysvalloissa, ja se on laajentunut myös kauppiasmaksuihin sekä debit- ja luottotuotteisiin. Braintree tukee kortti- ja digitaalisten lompakoiden maksujen käsittelyä suurille ja teknologiapainotteisille kauppiaille, kun taas Xoom keskittyy kansainvälisiin rahansiirtoihin. PayPal on ollut mukana myös uudemmilla rahoituksen alueilla, kuten osta nyt, maksa myöhemmin -tuotteissa ja digitaalisten varojen palveluissa valituilla markkinoilla.
