Sen kahvilat ja kioskit kilpailevat ruuhkaisilla markkinoilla, joilla toimivat suuret kansainväliset kahviketjut, paikalliset riippumattomat toimijat ja helppouteen keskittyvät juomien vähittäismyyjät.
Reborn raportoi kaksi liiketoimintasegmenttiä. Reborn Coffee -segmentti kattaa kahvin, veden ja niihin liittyvien juomien vähittäis- ja tukkumyynnin ja edustaa brändin keskeistä kaupallista toimintaa. Reborn Logistics -segmentti tarjoaa huolinta- ja rahtipalveluja, mikä antaa yhtiölle erillisen logistiikkapainotteisen tulovirran, joka poikkeaa kahvilaliiketoiminnasta.
Pörssilistattuna kuluttajayhtiönä Rebornin tulos riippuu myymäläliikenteestä, asiakasuskollisuudesta, franchising-toiminnan toteutuksesta, tuotemarginaaleista ja harkinnanvaraisen kulutuksen yleisestä kehityksestä. Kahvi on korkean ostotiheyden tuoteryhmä, mutta ala on myös kilpailtu ja herkkä sijainnin laadulle, työvoimakustannuksille, vuokrille ja raaka-ainepanoksille. Rebornin houkuttelevuus sijoittajille perustuu siihen, pystyykö yhtiö muuttamaan erikoistuneen brändin ja operatiivisen osaamisen skaalautuvaksi vähittäis- ja franchising-alustaksi samalla kun se hallitsee laajentumisen kustannuksia.
