Roivant Sciences Ltd. on kaupallisessa vaiheessa oleva biofarmaseuttinen yhtiö, joka rakentaa ja kehittää lääkkeitä portfoliomallin avulla. Roivantin kaupallinen tuote on VTAMA eli tapinarofi, paikallishoito, joka on hyväksytty aikuisten läiskäpsoriaasin hoitoon. Lääke antaa yhtiölle suoran altistuksen ihotautimarkkinaan ja tarjoaa kaupallisen perustan kehitysputken rinnalle. Laajempi strategia on tunnistaa lääkeaihioita, joilla on merkittävä kliininen peruste, edistää niitä tutkimusten kautta ja joko kaupallistaa ne itse tai luoda arvoa kumppanuuksien ja strategisten järjestelyjen avulla.
Yhtiön kehitysputkeen kuuluvat batoklimabi ja IMVT-1402, jotka kohdistuvat FcRn:ään ja joita kehitetään autoimmuunisairauksiin, sekä brepositinibi, namilumabi ja muut ehdokkaat kliinisen kehityksen eri vaiheissa. Nämä ohjelmat kohdistuvat immuunivälitteisiin sairauksiin, joissa nykyiset hoidot eivät välttämättä tehoa kaikkiin potilaisiin tai niihin voi liittyä rajoitteita turvallisuuden, käytön helppouden tai hoitovasteen kestävyyden osalta.
Roivant myös inkuboi löytövaiheen bioteknologiayhtiöitä ja terveysteknologiastartupeja, jotka täydentävät sen lääkekehitystoimintaa. Tämä antaa liiketoiminnalle hybridiprofiilin: osin kaupallinen biofarmayhtiö, osin biotieteellinen alusta.
