Vähittäiskauppias perustettiin vuonna 1982, ja se on laajentunut yli 2 100 myymälään 43 osavaltiossa. Tilikaudella 2025 yhtiö teki yli 22 miljardin dollarin liikevaihdon, mikä heijastaa sen arvoon keskittyvän vähittäiskauppa-alustan mittakaavaa. Sen myymälät on suunniteltu niin sanotun ”aarteenetsintä”-ostokokemuksen ympärille, jossa valikoima vaihtelee sijainnin ja käyntikerran mukaan, mikä kannustaa tunnettuja brändejä edullisemmin etsiviä kuluttajia palaamaan uudelleen.
