Genthermin tuotteita myydään pääasiassa globaaleille alkuperäislaitevalmistajille ja suurille autoteollisuuden toimittajille, mikä sitoo yhtiön tiiviisti ajoneuvojen tuotantosykleihin, mallijulkaisuihin ja kuluttajien kysyntään korkeatasoisista sisätilojen ominaisuuksista. Sähkö- ja hybridiajoneuvojen yleistyessä akkujen, matkustamojen ja elektroniikan lämmönhallinta on edelleen tärkeä liiketoiminnan kehitysalue.
Genthermillä on myös Medical-segmentti, joka keskittyy potilaan lämpötilan hallintaan. Tämä liiketoiminta toimittaa laitteita ja niihin liittyviä tuotteita, joita käytetään terveydenhuollossa potilaan ruumiinlämmön hallitsemiseen toimenpiteiden tai hoidon aikana.
