Forex: French Producer Price Index for April MoM At -0.9 percent

The French Producer Prices Index (PPI) for April MoM and French consumer spending data, also for April, were released today at 06:45 GMT.

The PPI was issued by the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies. The index measures changes in the prices of a basket of consumer goods and services purchased by households and is a main indicator of commodity price inflation.
French consumer spending data for April was released by the Ministry of Economic and Financial Affairs and shows that in April total household expenditure on goods decreased by 0.3 percent, versus a 1.3 percent increase in March.
