Deneve worked for Apple in Europe between 1990 and 1997. For now the projects, which the former fashion executive will be working on, remain unknown, but according to Bloomberg Deneve won’t be heading Apple’s online retail operations, a position that has remained vacant since the departure of John Browett last year. The newswire noted that due to his background in high fashion, Deneve had

experience selling products at a premium price.
Deneve isn’t the only fashion executive within Apple’s ranks. Mickey Drexler, the chairman and CEO of J Crew Group Inc., sits on Apple’s board, while Cook is a director at Nike Inc.
