Forex: NZD/USD up ahead of US and NZ economic updates

_iNVEZZ.com Monday July 8th:_ The New Zealand dollar traded higher against the greenback during today’s Asian session, with the pair rising to a current intraday high at 0.7745.

The US dollar was boosted on Friday by labour market updates which showed that the country’s economy added 195,000 jobs in June, beating the expectations for a 165,000 increase and matching May’s revised number.
Unemployment remained unchanged at 7.6 percent, missing expectations for a fall to 7.5 percent.
US Consumer Credit Change data for May is set for release at 20.00 BST today. In New Zealand, the NZIER business confidence reading for the second quarter of 2013 q/q and the REINZ House Price Index for May m/m are due out at 23.00 BST, with Electronic Card Retail Sales data for May y/y and m/m following at 23.45 BST.
