Facebook Home was released in April for a limited selection of Android-based smartphones from HTC and Samsung, including the HTC First, a smartphone that came preloaded with the software. The move aimed to give users more reasons to use Facebook on their mobile devices, but the reception of the product has been mixed at best. One of the biggest complaints from users who have downloaded the software has been the lack of folder support. This issue has now been resolved with the update which added the much-needed feature.
According to industry blog Mashable, Facebook is also working on other improvements for the launcher, including widget support – another frequent request from Android users.
**The Facebook share price was $25.28 as of 15.16 GMT, 09.07.2013**
