iNVEZZ.com, Monday, December 16: Shares in Burberry Group Plc(LON:BRBY) have traded higher today, as the British luxury retailer continued its brand expansion with a new beauty store opening in London’s Covent Garden.

The Burberry Beauty Box has been opened in response to booming sales and the increasing popularity of the cosmetics lines launched by Burberry in April as the brand’s fifth product division. The store features the full Burberry Beauty collection of make-up and fragrance, as well as limited edition beauty products. The space also houses Burberry accessories including sunglasses, scarves and an exclusive selection of bags, available only in the Beauty Box. The concept, which will eventually be rolled out globally, seeks to marry design and colour signatures from the brand’s clothing lines with make-up products.
