Change launched a Solana (SOL/USD) donation tool, which is now live. It enables people with Phantom wallets to donate to a cause of their choice and track all their donations in one place.

Change created the tool after seeing creators like RoyalRhinos and CryptoHeroLab launch collections that benefit a cause. The platform wanted to give them a path to confidently donate funds they’ve raised.

Popular causes include Girls Who Code, Ocean Conservancy, Kids Cancer Alliance, and more. Here is some more information about each.

Phantom donated $200,000 to the cause early this morning. Within a few hours, other community members started to follow suit by donating directly to the same wallet address.

Change is a set of APIs that powers donations directly from an app. To make a donation, register for Change at api.getchange.io.

Then, get your test API keys by navigating to the homepage of your Change dashboard. There is a section called Let’s get Started, which has the test API keys.

Choose your cause by navigating to the Nonprofits page. Look for one you’d like to make a test donation to and copy the ID.

You’re ready to make your first donation. It is created by entering the nonprofit ID and amount via the API keys.

To view your donation, look in Test Data in the Change dashboard. You can trace your impact and the related developments on the Insights page.
