  • AI-focused Shiba Memu has now raised over $1.5 million in pre-sale.
  • Its native meme coin SHMU is worth $0.0176 at the time of writing.

Artificial intelligence has been the buzzword on the earnings calls this season. After all, it’s what has drove much of an exciting 20% year-to-date rally in the S&P 500.

AI commands a valuation of about $200 billion at present – and according to Statista, this market will grow ten-fold and be worth nearly $2.0 trillion by the end of this decade.

What that projection suggests is that artificial intelligence is not just a short-term hype. It’s here to stay and projects like Shiba Memu wants to bathe in its triumph. Even more uplifting is to see investors rewarding a company’s AI push this earnings season more than anything else.

For instance, Advanced Micro Devices or AMD reported an 18% year-on-year decline in its quarterly revenue this week. Still, the stock remained resilience because the chipmaker said AI engagement increased by more than seven times in Q2 (read more).

AMD CEO shares her view on artificial intelligence

AMD CEO Lisa Su forecasts the market for data centres-focused AI chips alone to be worth $150 billion by 2027. Speaking with CNBC following the quarterly earnings release, though, she confirmed that artificial intelligence moving forward will be meaningfully integrated into personal computers as well.

We’re excited about AI in all parts of the market. We see it in largest data centres to edge devices to PCs. We just launched a set of products that have AI inside the PC. What that means is your PC will be much more productive going forward.

Note that AMD is only one such example. A bunch of other notable names, including Nvidia, Microsoft, Apple, Google – you name it – are going all in with an AI push.

And then, of course, there’s up-and-coming projects like Shiba Memu that are committed to capitalising and exploring the potential of artificial intelligence as well.

What does Shiba Memu has to do with AI?

Shiba Memu dubs itself a “marketing powerhouse” that uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to create and distribute personalised content on the internet that serves to promote it. In a White Paper available on its website, Shiba Memu puts itself as equivalent to “100 marketing agencies”.

What’s particularly interesting about this project is that on top of the purpose-specific use of AI, it’s also a crypto network at its core that is powered by a native meme cryptocurrency named “SHMU”.

SHMU aims at building on the rapid growth in meme coins market that has gone from $0 in 2020 to more than $20 billion in 2022. The crypto token is worth $0.0176 at writing in the pre-sale.

Once the pre-sale is over, Shiba Memu will list on crypto exchanges that tends to be a material catalyst for a further price appreciation. What’s also noteworthy is that the price of SHMU increases after every 24 hours.

Is Shiba Memu (SHMU) a good investment?

Shiba Memu may be a good investment as it could benefit not just from the AI tailwinds but ones that help the broader crypto ecosystem as well. Note that the crypto market is projected to see a CAGR of 12.5% through 2030.

Its pre-sale has raised over $1.5 million within a few weeks that already signals strong demand for the SHMU which may boost even further once the blockchain-based project launches its AI dashboard next year.

Shiba Memu or the SHMU meme coin may also benefit if the U.S. SEC ends up giving its blessings for a Spot Bitcoin ETF. Considering that an asset manager with a flawless track record in winning regulatory approvals for exchange-traded funds – BlackRock Inc has filed for a Bitcoin ETF, it’s conceivable that the first U.S. Spot Bitcoin ETF is in the offing.

Lastly, the U.S. Federal Reserve raised rates by another 25 basis points last month that may end up being its last rate hike of the cycle as Invezz reported here. As the central bank pivots, interest in the risk-on bets like cryptocurrencies may increase and help the SHMU coin as well.

More detail regarding the Shiba Memu pre-sale is available on the website here.
