The company was born in 1971, having been founded by Roger Saul together with his mother, Joan. They opened their first leather fabrication factory in 1973, and quickly, the company was able to claim its space in the fashion industry.
The first designs Mulberry Group PLC made were buckled leather belts. They were followed by iconic bags, women’s wear line, and before long, it was a big luxury fashion company. It is located in Somerset, England, with more than 120 stores worldwide.
