National Express Group PLC was a project initiated by the National Bus Company in 1972. The aim was to put all its coach services under one brand, and in 1974, the National Express brand was set up. The network of coaches serves more than 750 UK towns and cities. This includes the UK’s major airports, events, and festivals. The head office is in Birmingham, but the network is also available in North Africa, the Middle East, North America, and Continental Europe.
