It operates under five segments of Beauty, grooming, health care, fabric & home care baby, and Feminine & Family Care.

Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, the company has a pipeline of 65 brands after dropping and selling 100 brands in 2014. The company has grown through mergers and acquisitions that have allowed it to diversify its product line as well as revenue streams. In 2005, it acquired Gillette to become the largest consumer goods company.

The company boasts of a primary listing on the New York Stock Exchange.
