Can I trade with leverage on CoinTiger?
Yes, trading with leverage is available on CoinTiger futures. Traders can trade with leverage between 25x and 125x on the crypto perpetual contracts. The maximum amount of leverage available for traders depends on the notional value of their position. However, the larger the position, the lower the leverage allowed.
The initial margin rates and deposits are calculated using the leverage selected by the trader, for a position of maximum 50,000 USDT with a desired leverage of 125x, the margin rate would be 0.8%.
Keep in mind that trading with leverage is a complicated financial operation that results in loss in more than 70% of cases, which means it should only be conducted by professional traders and we do not recommend it for beginners.

Tools and charting

Our verdict
CoinTiger is ideal if you’re looking for a fast and secure crypto exchange platform but don’t need advanced trading features. Its fees are relatively low and there is good liquidity available for the top coins.
There are services too which aren’t readily available on other exchanges, particularly investment vehicles that let you back promising blockchain projects, along with an API for advanced customisation.
On the negative side, there is a limited number of tools and charts available and very little in the way of educational resources. That means it lies somewhere in the middle of offering a basic exchange for newcomers and an advanced one for more experienced users.
