Key features

Minimum $1 deposit

While many similar trading platforms will require a minimum deposit of $10 or the equivalent in the local currency, SimpleFX commits in making trading as simple as possible, so you can start your live account with as little as $1.

Negative account balance policy

SimpleFX offers Negative Balance Protection, similar to other online trading platforms. This feature allows you to close your transactions in order to protect your account before reaching negative balance.

FIX API

SimpleFX benefits from a FIX API trading solution for professional traders and programmers who require direct market access (DMA) for the trading applications that they have created.

Security and regulation

Is SimpleFX safe?

Although SimpleFX is not regulated, it uses a series of other security procedures to ensure the safety of your money and investments such as two-factor authentication, negative balance protection, as well as fast & secure transfers to have access to your funds anytime you want.

Since most accounts are funded with cryptocurrencies, SimpleFX needs to have a robust coin management procedure in place. They operate a cold wallet protocol, which means that they keep most of their cryptos in an offline wallet, safe from hackers and any external threats.

Am I and my funds protected?

SimpleFX operates a policy of segregated accounts, which means the broker entity keeps clients’ funds separate from the funds of the brokers’ own operation.

SimpleFX has strict solvency requirements and holds a buffer of funds to protect against any severe market movements that might occur, but the platform isn’t officially regulated so there are no robust protections on money deposited with SimpleFX.

 Is SimpleFX regulated?

SimpleFX is not a regulated financial entity but claims that this is their top priority for the upcoming year. The company is incorporated in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines under the registered number 22361 IBC by the Registrar of International Business Companies and its operations are subject to the Saint Vincent law.

The main reason why SimpleFX is not regulated is because it largely offers cryptocurrency trading, which is yet to be strictly defined by financial regulations. Furthermore, SimpleFX has full 256bit encryption on their website, which means any communication done through the website is encrypted and safe.

Do I have to verify my account with SimpleFX?

If you are only depositing using cryptocurrencies, you don’t have to worry about account verification when using SimpleFX. However, if you are depositing using a fiat currency, you will be required to complete a KYC in order to remain on top of the AML procedures at the broker.

You’ll have to fully identify yourself and your place of residence to complete the verification process. SimpleFX, similar to other broker platforms with verified accounts, will require a proof of a government issued photo ID and a proof of address.

Generally speaking, the account verification shouldn’t take more than 48 hours, and you will be notified when the process is completed.
