Cybersecurity and Tech ETF, IHAK).
CrowdStrike CRWD shares gained about 1.1% in trading on Tuesday after receiving fresh support from Wall Street, with Loop Capital initiating coverage on the cybersecurity company with a Buy rating and Cantor Fitzgerald reiterating its bullish stance.
Loop Capital analyst Yun Kim assigned a $230 price target, implying roughly 27% upside from Monday's closing price.
The brokerage said CrowdStrike is well positioned to capitalize on growing demand for cybersecurity solutions designed for the emerging era of agentic artificial intelligence.
The analyst argued that enterprises are approaching an inflection point in AI adoption, creating a significant opportunity for cybersecurity vendors capable of protecting increasingly autonomous AI systems.
“CRWD is simply the best-positioned cybersecurity vendor in the emerging agentic AI era, which will likely to reach an inflection point in the enterprise adoption curve some time in the next few years,” Kim wrote in a research note.
CrowdStrike provides cloud-delivered endpoint and workload protection services and has increasingly been viewed as a key beneficiary of rising enterprise cybersecurity spending.
Loop Capital ser CrowdStrike lede innen sikkerhet for agentdrevet AI
Loop Capital said CrowdStrike's position in security information and event management technology, along with its security operations capabilities, gives it an advantage as enterprises prepare for AI-driven cyber threats.
Kim said conversations with cybersecurity industry contacts reinforced the firm's view that CrowdStrike is best positioned to benefit from the next phase of AI adoption.
The analyst also highlighted the company's sales organization as a competitive strength.
According to Kim, CrowdStrike's sales team has established itself as a strategic partner by balancing customers' immediate security requirements with longer-term planning.
CrowdStrike shares experienced significant volatility earlier this year.
The stock was down as much as 25% during the early months of 2026 amid concerns that advances in artificial intelligence could disrupt traditional cybersecurity business models.
However, sentiment has since improved.
The shares have climbed more than 53% this year and have more than doubled from their late-February lows as investors increasingly view AI as a catalyst for cybersecurity demand rather than a threat.
Kim described the current environment as an “unprecedented” opportunity for the company.
“We highlight that Mythos scare is serving as the catalyst for all organizations to accelerate planning and deployment of their cybersecurity AI platform,” he wrote.
“The recent Hugging Face incident,” where an OpenAI model broke free of their training environment, “is a reminder of the power and sophistication of automated, AI agent-driven attacks leveraging LLM technology, generating a greater urgency in the market and further accelerating the timeline for when the inflection point occurs.”
Hugging Face‑hendelsen forsterker etterspørselen etter cybersikkerhet
Cantor Fitzgerald also maintained an Overweight rating on CrowdStrike with a $725 price target, pointing to the recent Hugging Face security incident as evidence that cyber threats are becoming increasingly sophisticated.
According to the brokerage, Hugging Face reported that no public models or datasets were compromised and that the company used its own AI tools to detect and contain the intrusion.
The attack reportedly generated around 17,000 actions across short-lived sandboxes using a self-migrating command-and-control channel.
Cantor Fitzgerald said security tools that monitor only a single endpoint or network segment would have difficulty detecting attacks of that nature.
The firm expects organizations to increase spending on security platforms capable of providing broad telemetry as agentic AI frameworks reduce the cost and complexity of carrying out multi-stage cyberattacks.
