Kinetiq (KNTQ)
Kinetiq is a liquid staking protocol designed for the Hyperliquid ecosystem. It lets holders of HYPE, the native asset of the Hyperliquid blockchain, participate in staking while receiving a liquid representation of their position called Kinetiq Staked HYPE, or kHYPE. This model is intended to make staked capital more flexible: users can continue to earn staking rewards without having to leave their assets idle or locked away from other on-chain opportunities.
The protocol’s core role is to connect network security with DeFi liquidity. When HYPE is deposited into Kinetiq, the underlying tokens are staked and delegated to validators, while kHYPE remains available for use across compatible decentralized finance applications. That may include trading, collateral use, liquidity provision, or other integrations as the Hyperliquid DeFi environment develops. In this way, Kinetiq aims to improve capital efficiency for users who want exposure to staking rewards and broader on-chain activity at the same time.
A distinctive feature of Kinetiq is StakeHub, its validator scoring and delegation system. Rather than requiring each user to research and select validators manually, the protocol routes staked HYPE toward validators it identifies as strong performers. This automated approach is designed to support reliable staking participation and help distribute capital across the validator set according to measurable performance criteria.
KNTQ is associated with a protocol focused on the intersection of staking infrastructure, liquid staking tokens, and the rapidly growing Hyperliquid network. Its relevance depends on adoption of HYPE staking, kHYPE utility, and the depth of DeFi activity built around Hyperliquid.
