Mey Network (MEY)
Mey Network is a blockchain ecosystem focused on bringing real-world assets, particularly real estate, into on-chain markets. Its core proposition is to make traditionally illiquid and high-barrier assets easier to access, manage, and trade through tokenization. By representing ownership or economic exposure to physical assets on a blockchain, the project aims to reduce friction in areas such as asset administration, transparency, settlement, and investor participation.
The network is built around Meychain, a dedicated Layer 1 blockchain designed for real-world asset use cases. This gives the project its own base infrastructure rather than relying only on a general-purpose chain. A specialized RWA blockchain can be structured around the needs of asset-backed tokens, including compliance-aware design, transaction reliability, and the recording of asset-related data. Mey Network pairs this infrastructure with MeyFi, its decentralized finance platform, which is intended to support tokenized asset trading and financial activity within the ecosystem.
MEY is associated with a broader market theme in crypto: the migration of tangible assets such as property, commodities, credit instruments, and other off-chain rights into digital markets. Real estate is a prominent target for this trend because it is valuable, globally recognized, and often difficult for smaller investors to access directly.
