USP Yield Optimized Stablecoin (USP)

The design differs from a standard fiat-backed stablecoin because USP is intended to reflect gains from yield-producing reserves. PikuDAO governs the system and is responsible for decisions about how backing assets are diversified over time. The model can include a mix of on-chain and off-chain yield sources, selected to support the stablecoin’s reserves and improve capital efficiency. As those assets generate income, the value backing USP is expected to increase, allowing the token to represent both stability and accumulated yield.

USP therefore targets users who want exposure to a conservative, dollar-based crypto asset without separately managing lending positions, tokenized treasury products, or other income-generating strategies. Its role in the Piku ecosystem is to provide a straightforward entry point into yield, with governance handled through a DAO rather than a traditional centralized issuer model.
