Almonty Industries (ALM)

Almonty’s producing asset is the Panasqueira mine in Portugal, a long-running tin and tungsten operation located near Covilhã in the Castelo Branco district. The company mines, processes, and ships tungsten concentrate from Panasqueira, giving it an established operating base on the Iberian Peninsula. In Spain, Almonty also controls the Valtreixal tin and tungsten project in Zamora province, which adds further optionality within the same regional mining corridor.

The company’s most significant development focus is the Sangdong mine in South Korea. Sangdong is a tungsten project being advanced in a country with strong industrial demand and strategic interest in supply chain resilience. Almonty is also evaluating a molybdenum opportunity on a separate property near the Sangdong tungsten orebody, giving the site broader mineral potential beyond its core tungsten focus.

In the United States, the company has added the Gentung-Browns Lake tungsten project in Montana, expanding its geographic footprint. Almonty’s shares offer exposure to tungsten market fundamentals, project execution at Sangdong, ongoing output from Panasqueira, and the policy-driven demand for critical minerals outside dominant supply regions.
