Timberland Bancorp (TSBK)
Nasdaq Market Open
Timberland Bancorp Inc. is the bank holding company for Timberland Bank, a community-focused financial institution serving consumers, small businesses, and real estate borrowers. The company operates as a traditional banking business, gathering deposits from local markets and using those funds to originate loans, with a particular emphasis on relationship banking and property-related lending.
Timberland Bank offers a broad set of retail deposit services, including checking accounts, savings products, debit cards, health savings accounts, online banking, mobile banking, bill payment, telephone banking, and person-to-person payment access through Zelle. For business customers, it provides checking accounts, remote deposit capture, ACH transaction capabilities, online cash management tools, Autobooks, and insured cash sweep services. These products help the bank compete for operating accounts and long-term customer relationships in its regional markets.
Lending is a central part of Timberland Bancorp’s business model. The bank provides consumer credit cards, home loans, home equity borrowing, construction financing, and Small Business Administration loans. Its real estate lending activities include one- to four-family residential loans, multifamily loans, commercial real estate loans, land loans, and construction loans for both residential and multifamily projects. This gives the company meaningful exposure to local housing, development, and commercial property conditions.
As a smaller regional bank, Timberland Bancorp’s investment profile is shaped by credit quality, deposit costs, interest rate movements, and economic trends in the communities it serves. Its distinction lies in a locally oriented franchise that combines conventional deposit banking with a substantial real estate lending platform.
