Ankr Network (ANKR)
Ankr Network is a Web3 infrastructure project that provides blockchain connectivity tools for developers, applications, and institutions. Its core business is making it easier to access blockchain data and submit transactions across multiple networks without every team having to run and maintain its own node infrastructure. ANKR is the project’s native token and is used within the Ankr ecosystem.
Ankr is best known for its RPC and API services, which allow decentralised applications, wallets, exchanges, and analytics platforms to communicate with blockchains. Reliable RPC access is a critical part of Web3 infrastructure because it connects user-facing applications to the underlying networks. The project also offers staking-related products through Ankr Earn, including liquid staking services that let users stake supported assets while receiving tokenised representations that can be used elsewhere in DeFi. In addition, Ankr provides enterprise and developer solutions for teams that need customised blockchain infrastructure, app chains, or dedicated node services.
Ankr’s role in the crypto market is closer to cloud infrastructure than to a consumer application. It serves the builders and protocols that need scalable, distributed access to blockchain networks.
