This structure gives the token exposure to high-quality local-currency collateral while keeping the user-facing stablecoin focused on payments, settlement, and treasury management. The project separates the stable transfer asset from the yield generated by the underlying reserves. Rather than rebasing token balances, reserve surplus accrues at the collateral layer through BRLY and can be redeemed in BRLV through a rewards-claiming mechanism.

This approach is intended to serve both DeFi and institutional use cases. For DeFi protocols, BRLV behaves like a conventional stable ERC-20 asset, which reduces integration complexity. For businesses and treasury users, it offers a blockchain-based BRL instrument that can be used for settlement, liquidity management, and access to digital-asset markets without introducing token balance mechanics that may complicate accounting.
