TGBP is issued by a UK FCA-registered firm and is positioned around regulatory compliance, redeemability, and transparent reserves. Its backing model uses fiat currency and short-duration UK government debt, including zero-coupon bonds issued by HM Treasury. This reserve approach is intended to support the peg while keeping the asset tied to high-quality sterling-denominated collateral.

The token’s main role is to support payments, trading, and programmable financial activity in GBP rather than in the more common dollar-denominated stablecoins.
