Trust Wallet (TWT)

TWT is designed to strengthen the wallet’s user ecosystem rather than operate as a standalone blockchain. Holders can use the token in ways connected to participation, incentives, and product engagement. Its governance role allows the community to signal preferences on matters such as blockchain integrations, supported assets, and future wallet features. This gives active users a channel to influence the development priorities of a widely used self-custody platform.

The token may also be used for benefits inside the Trust Wallet environment, including discounts on selected in-app crypto purchases or decentralised exchange services where supported. Earlier plans for the token also included use cases around submissions to the Trust Wallet repository, developer incentives, reputation systems, bounties, affiliate rewards, and digital collectibles marketplaces.

Trust Wallet’s broader appeal comes from its self-custody model: users control their private keys rather than relying on a centralised exchange to hold funds. TWT therefore sits at the intersection of wallet adoption, mobile Web3 access, and community-led product development. Its relevance is closely tied to Trust Wallet’s ability to attract users who want simple access to multiple networks while retaining direct control over their assets.
