Arcosa (ACA)
NYSE Market Open
Arcosa, Inc. is a US-based infrastructure products company that supplies materials, structures, and equipment used across construction, energy, transportation, and industrial markets. The company was formed as a standalone public business after being separated from Trinity Industries, giving it a focused portfolio tied to long-lived infrastructure spending and essential industrial activity.
Its largest business is Construction Products, which provides aggregates, specialty materials, asphalt, and related construction support products. These materials are used in roads, commercial projects, residential development, and public works, making the segment closely linked to regional construction demand and government infrastructure investment. Arcosa’s quarry and materials operations give it exposure to local markets where logistics and access to permitted reserves can be important competitive factors.
The Engineered Structures segment manufactures products that support power, communications, and transportation networks. Its output includes steel and concrete utility structures for electric transmission and distribution, wind towers, traffic and lighting structures, and telecommunications structures. This part of the business connects Arcosa to grid modernization, renewable energy development, and the broader need to maintain and expand critical infrastructure.
Arcosa also operates a Transportation Products segment that serves inland waterway and industrial customers. It produces inland barges, fiberglass barge covers, winches, marine hardware, and other equipment. Demand in this area is influenced by freight movement, commodity transport, replacement cycles, and activity on US river systems.
Overall, Arcosa is positioned as a diversified supplier to infrastructure end markets rather than a single-product manufacturer, with revenue streams spread across construction materials, engineered components, and transportation equipment.
